This team helps new parents of single babies, twins and triplets, providing nurturing care to newborns and evidence based education to their parents. By allowing parents sleep at night, we allow families to thrive during their day.
Kayla S., RN, BSN
Kayla comes to Let Mommy Sleep with a great passion for nurturing babies. Prior to obtaining her RN, Kayla worked as an Infant Room Teacher responsible for feeding, cleaning, changing, and age appropriate play of up to 10 infants at a time. Kayla also has experience working in the Intensive Care and Telemetry Units at Newton Medical Center and completed her clinical rotations in Postpartum, Newborn Nursery, and NICU at St. Clare’s Hospital.
Stephanie M. RN, BSN
In addition to completing her RN with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Stephanie is a Dona Approved Birth Doula, and currently enrolled in the Midwifery Program at Georgetown. She has clinical experience in Women’s Health Nursing through Hackensack University Medical Center and completed her Nursing Care of the Child and Family rotation through St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center. She is passionate about neonatal and maternal care, interested in educating new parents, and giving them some much needed rest. Stephanie is bilingual in both English and Spanish.
Kristen Barrasso, RN, BSN, Nurse Manager
A 10 year Registered Nurse with a focus in Pediatrics, Kristen brings her passion for family centered care to hiring all nurses and caregivers, and providing families with immersive evidence based education in the home. Kristen is also completing the prestigious International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification to further serve new parents and staff alike. Kristen was also an 8 year volunteer New Jersey Firefighter and is a mother of 2 beautiful girls.
Jessica V., RN
A Registered Nurse for over 18 years, and a NICU veteran with her own 2 children, Jessica is able to assist parents through all phases of pre and postnatal care and education. Jessica's personal and profressional experience allow her to provide feeding, all early care and sleep expertise for parents with single babies and twins.
Dionna, NJ Practical Nursing Certificate
Dionna comes to LMS with over 5 years Nanny experience, as well as professional daycare experience where she was responsible for up to four infants at once. She has also completed her Certificate in Practical Nursing and is currently pursuing her RN degree.
Maria A., Licensed Practical Nurse
Maria has worked in the private home care evironment as well as with children with special needs. Maria is an experienced mom of 2 children, born 16 months apart and can be a great help tp our "2 under 2" families. She is comfortable teaching and supporting both breastfeeding and bottle-feeding. As a Licensed Practical Nurse Maria has also completed pediatric clinicals and safety protocols.
Katie M., RN
With 6 years of experience working as a Registered Nurse on a Postpartum unit of a hospital and 2.5 years in a Lactation Center, Katie brings to us a wealth of knowledge in helping our families with immediate postpartum care. She also has worked as a Nanny helping families with newborns and young children. Katie is currently assisting new and expectant parents by teaching our “Baby Basics” and “So You’re Having Twins” classes at the Bridgewater Babies R Us.
Chantel R., RN
Chantel has experience in the hospital setting working on a Maternity Unit caring for both mother baby couplets and parents and their multiples, taking a family centered approach to care. Chantel is comfortable helping mothers new to bottle and breastfeeding. In addition to having the credentials of RN behind her name, she continues to advance her career by pursuing her Bachelor's in Nursing (BSN). As a mother of 2, Chantel has a deep understanding of what it is like to be a new mom.
